The Transylvania Heritage Museum is located at 189 West Main Street in Brevard, North Carolina. The Museum is currently closed to install Mountain Legacies: Exploring Appalachian Culture. The Museum will reopen on March 11th. We are open Thursday - Saturday, from noon until 4:00 pm.  

The Museum manages the Second Floor House Museum at Silvermont, located at  364 E Main Street in  Brevard. Silvermont Museum is open Mid-March though September each Thursday, from 9:30 until 11:00 am, and Friday, from 1:00- 3:30 pm. There is no admission fee, but donations are welcome. Tours can be arranged at other times by contacting the Transylvania Heritage Museum. 

The Museum conducts Guided Walking Tours of Brevard on the second Saturday of each month from April to October. Additional tours can be scheduled for groups of four or more. The cost is $5 per person, children 10 and under free with paying adult. Reservations are required.
